Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) Talent Lab 2026
I’m proud to have been selected to attend the talent lab taking place during the 23rd Reykjavik International Film Festival between 29th September and 4th October 2026. I’ve been to Iceland a few times and I love the landscape, culture and people. Also for such a small country they have a strong cinematic output (see Hlynur Pálmason, Kristján Jónsson, and one of my favourite podcasts: kvikmyndapod).
The Talent Lab is an opportunity to learn, collaborate and enjoy the work of other film-makers. I’m hoping to develop some production opportunities for my feature films about classical music, and the 2008 financial crash set in London and Iceland.

Quiet Loud Quiet Loud will have its UK premiere at The Romford Short Film Festival in London on Saturday 5th September
I’m stoked to be having the UK premiere of Quiet Loud Quiet Loud at the Romford Short Film Festival. Romford is a very independent film festival run by people who love cinema. The Lumiere cinema where our film will be screening is owned by the festival itself and in an era where distribution for independent cinema is so challenging, ownership like this is really inspiring to see, and I’m excited to see my film play there. https://www.romfordfilmfestival.com/shortfilmfest

Quiet Loud Quiet Loud premieres at Next Step Film Festival in Cannes
Thanks to Umberto and Izabella for selecting our film and organizing the festival. It was inspiring to see everyone’s shorts and to experience Cannes during festival fortnight. https://www.nextstepfilmfestival.com/
